Wimborne Tyres & Auto Centre Ltd can arrange for your MOT to be carried out at an authorised testing centre.  As a Dorset based garage, you can bring your vehicle into us and we can inspect if your car needs MOT and if there are any problems as we run through the checks, your mechanic will get in touch with you before doing any further work.

Important annual check

The MOT is a legal requirement to use a car on the road in the UK, but it is also an important annual check to diagnose any problems with key systems in your car.  The MOT looks at big things like the brakes, exhaust, tyres and other key areas. It also looks at some of the safety systems in the car like the seatbelts and the horn.  It even checks your lights to make sure they are working correctly.

If there is something wrong with the car, this doesn’t mean an instant fail.  If it is a minor problem, you may just find it is recommended that you deal with it in the near future.  And if there are bigger problems that cause a fail, we are here to help do the work and get the car running well again for you.

MOTs and servicing

Many of our customers choose to have their vehicle services as well as its regular MOT.  That’s because servicing looks at different areas to the MOT and involves replacing key systems that are used the most.  We offer servicing options to suit your needs and budget and can advise on what schedule might best suit your car use.
