Just like when your tyres get worn and you notice the car doesn’t feel quite right, your battery often sends signs that there is a problem and a trip to the garage is needed.  One of the most common is that it can be difficult to start the car.  The engines cranks slower and you might even hear a clicking sound when you turn on the ignition.

Batteries do more than just power the engine so sometimes the signs of a problem come elsewhere from things such as lights, electric windows or heaters.  These stop working as they should, and a lack of power can be the culprit.  And if you see a warning light on your dash, this definitely means you want to see someone to have it checked out.
